In the project, I address the phenomenon of repetitive human gestures in time, exploring the paradox of human immutability in a changing historical landscape. I reflect on the body in time, on how external circumstances - era, fashion, technology - hardly affect the fundamental properties of human nature. Running here acts as a symbol of resistance, survival, striving for the best.
Embroidery, as the chosen medium, adds a layer of meaning: the slow, almost meditative process of manual labor enters into a dialogue with the speed of running, with the acceleration of time, with the rhythm of history, which seems like an endless loop.
