I want to live with you
Textiles, glass beads, 145x75cm, 2025
In these two works, united by a common theme, I explore the connection between a person and his environment. I want to live with you is not just a declaration of the desire to be close, but also about how our home, our street, our neighborhood become a part of ourselves. These works are an attempt to understand what it means to live not just in space, but with it, with its history, architecture and spirit.
The first canvas displays the architecture of the area - lines, shapes, buildings that become an integral part of everyday life. Through embroidery, with its soft but clear contours, I build space. Small details representing houses recreate an entire world where every element is important, where every feature of the architecture has meaning.
The second work is dedicated to the objects that permeate this area and are inextricably linked with it - be it recognizable details or small memorial signs. They are not so significant on the scale of the city, but they carry the memory and stories of the residents, and this is their special value. Here, embroidery becomes not just a reflection of the outside world, but also of the inner world, intertwined with everyday life.
Together, these works create a unique image of the place where I live (and dream of buying an apartment), and at the same time turn into a deep metaphor for the relationship between a person and his environment. Through these works, one can feel how every corner and every object in the city become not just physical objects, but also important parts of personal and collective memory.
